It's nice to have a wife who is politely interested and not overly analytical. I set up three plays of the same track
A was Lindemann
B was Macbook/optical Toslink/DacMagic
C was Macbook/Audiophilleo/DacMagic
A was preferred and cited as 'smoother'. B not liked as much as C, which was a hairs breadth different than A.
Which is nice
